How were your accommodations? Great
What did you love? The accommodations were perfectly placed for Wild Atlantic Way road trip list of points of interest. We had Nine different hotels, our favorites were Ballygarry and Fiddle & Bow. The Concierge at The Fairview was exceptional.
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation? Yes
What did you love? Our Toyota C-HR hybrid was chic, big enough for 3 plus luggage, narrow enough to pass oncoming traffic in one lane, and economical. The rental agency was above board and did not claim any damage or tac on any extra charges. They even called me in the States to let me know!
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy? I loved all the tours and attractions! The Hill of Tara tour was closed (pre-season) when we visited. Charles Fort, Jameson in Midleton, Bridges of Ross, Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery, Slieve League, and Bru na Boinne tour were memorable.
What was your favorite part of the trip? There are too many favorites because Josephine Keenan sprinkles fairy dust into every spectacular day.
Would you travel with us again? Yes
How can we improve for next time? The only thing to improve would be to control the weather, lol.

How were your accommodations? Great
What did you love? The hotels in London and Edinburgh were in great locations. Accommodations were standard for big city hotels. Included breakfast made it easy.
The gems were the properties outside of the major cities. First Corriegour Lodge. We were running late for dinner but when we walked through the door the owner didn’t make us feel that way. She got us settled and had us order before we refreshed from our travel day. Dinner was delicious and we all decided we should have had dinner there both days. Our kids had a great room with 3 beds. Perfect for them. Breakfast was great both days. The hosts were so friendly and it was like staying with family.
Next we stayed at Poplar house in Pitlochry. The property in gorgeous and updated. Natalie was a lovely hostess and showed us on the map where to explore and which restaurants to try. Everything she suggested was spot on for our time there. Kids again had the perfect room which would work well for a family of 4 too. Breakfast was amazing. Homemade everything including lemon curd for my toast and whisky in the porridge.
I would recommend any of the four places.

What did you love? So many things! Windsor Castle – when we walked in to St. George’s chapel the choir was rehearsing and it was such a magnificent moment. It was the highlight of our Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor day.
The driver that picked us up from Heathrow (Brian) was hard to find initially ( we were late arriving) but once we found him and got in the car got us safely to the hotel and was full of helpful information.
Daryl in Edinburgh was very kind to pick us up in Edinburgh. We were late arriving and despite a chaotic day in Edinburgh he was able to find us and get us to our rental car.
Loved Pitlochry. We would visit again!
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy? The hop on hop off tours in both London and Edinburgh were perfect. London was a bit crazy with road closures due to Jubilee preparations but day one it was a great activity with jet lag. In Edinburgh the bus company helped us with tickets to Edinburgh castle even though they were sold out online. Good thing because we LOVED visiting there.
What was your favorite part of the trip? It’s hard to pick one, but Edinburgh was such an unexpected city and we loved exploring the streets and staircase ways. We also missed the Jacobite steam train (bummer) but had a great day at the museum in Ft William , visiting Neptunes Staircase and walking a bit up Ben Nevis. Missing the train ended up giving us a great day 🙂

How can we improve for next time? Everything went so well.., from first contact to out pre departure discussion. We were very pleased.

How were your accommodations? Great
What did you love? All our accommodations were excellent. We enjoyed every nights stay.
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation? Yes
What did you love? The drivers were excellent! They acted as tour guides. The vehicles were spotless. We had one bad incident with the return of the rental car but that was due to construction and Enterprise’s lack of directions as to where to go.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy? All our activities were great. One suggestion is not to schedule the hop on hop off bus in Edinburgh on the same day as the castle entrance. It was a bit much trying to fit them both in. The hike in Fort William was great!
What was your favorite part of the trip? Having everything set up for us! It was so nice to have all accommodations and transportation handled.

What did you love? Great rental car and easy drop off at the airport when we were heading back home.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy? Literally everything! Really appreciated Josie’s expertise in helping us manage the day-to-day and not taking on too much with a little on in toe.
What was your favorite part of the trip? Our time in Killarney and our afternoon tea at the Ashford Estate!
Would you travel with us again? Yes
How can we improve for next time? Already looking for our new trip! Can’t wait to work with Josie again!
Any other questions or comments? Special thank you to Josie for reworking our trip when a hurricane pushed back our plans. It was so seamless and we appreciated it so much!
Dennis G. | Portugal | October, 2022
Hi Josie,
I just completed the evaluation form and rated the trip a 5 of 5 experience. Everything went smoothly from our arrival in Porto to our departure from Lisbon. As you know our trip to Portugal proved a challenge but the airline folks bent over backwards to redirect us. We basically lost about five hours but still arrived at our hotel on the Douro before dark.
Each day proved to be a fun, educational experience. We had only one rainy day and that was a travel day for us so it didn’t disrupt any plans. We had a great time in the Algarve region and I would recommend, if you have to do it over again, to direct folks down there. Our last two days with Carlos were great. He should be recognized for the great host he was. As I mentioned in the evaluation, the only thing I might change was the trip to the Pena Palace. While it was very interesting, the crowds were just too much.
Thanks again for going outside your comfort zone to help us plan our Portugal adventure. We had a terrific time.
Thankfully yours,
Dennis

How were your accommodations? Great
What did you love? Each stop was unique and wonderful. From the river cruise on the Douro to the day at Sintra, each day was terrific.
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation? Yes
What did you love? Virtually everything. We had a great two days with Carlos who seemed to know everything about everything.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy? The river cruise on the Douro, the exploration of the megalithic sites with Sira , our relaxing time in the Algarve region, and finishing up in Lisbon/Sintra. Wonderful, memorable experiences all.
What was your favorite part of the trip? Hard to say. Everything went smoothly, the weather was great, food was interesting, and people very friendly
Would you travel with us again? Yes
How can we improve for next time? Perhaps the only thing I might rethink was the trip to the Pena Palace. The crowds were a bit much especially for folks who don’t like the crush of other tourists.
Any other questions or comments? I would really like to tip my hat to Carlos who was a great tour guide for our last two days around Lisbon/Sintra.

How were your accommodations? Great
What did you love? The selection of our accommodation exceeded our expectations!
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation? Yes
What did you love? The entire trip was beyond what we expected. In talking with other travelers it was noted that we did a lot in the given amount of time we had. The accommodations, rental car, itinerary, everything about the trip was exceptional!
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy? Where to begin! Low tea at Ashford Castle was certainly a stand out event. Killarney was the location we enjoyed the most as the city, shopping, Dingle Peninsula, and jaunting tour were the highlights here. The Guinness tour and EPIC museum were the highlights for Dublin.
What was your favorite part of the trip? Everything! The flights were easy, the trip had no hiccups, the itinerary was full of explorations, recommendations, and accommodations that fit us perfectly! Even though it was colder than expected we had no rain and blue sky’s making it a trip that would be hard to replicate.
Would you travel with us again? Yes
How can we improve for next time? The one question that I dont have a good response to. Which in this case is a good thing. If i had to say anything it would be that the DoDublin tour bus is a lengthy tour. Not realizing how congested the city gets we missed the original Guinness tour, but with a easy call they adjusted to the following day.
