How were your accommodations?
Great – Loved the homey atmosphere and location of Gregan’s Castle. Service excellent and our room was warm and cozy. Ashford Castle was like something out of Downton Abby!
What did you love?
Boat ride on lake was wonderful. We liked the ability to walk into Cong and enjoy that charming village. Dinner in dining room was a bit over the top for us but enjoyed the dinner at the seafood restaurant on the property. Excellent!
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?
Yes- Our driver, John Harrington could not have been better!! We loved him and we had an easy, fun time together. He brought us to places we had never heard of and pointed out many interesting sites along the way. He was great. We quickly became friends.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?
Loved Kylemore Abbey and Sky Drive. Actually there wasn’t anything we didn’t love.
