There was no chance to sleep in because you needed to check out before ten and get on the road so that you could see all of the attractions.

      With this tour, you have just two hotels in six nights. There is less packing and unpacking to be done and you won't have to live out of your suitcase.


      7 Day Southern England & London Tour Itinerary

      Day 1 : Welcome to London!

      Arrive in London and make your way to your accommodation. After checking into your hotel, go out and begin exploring this wonderful city. Take an open-top bus tour around the many famous landmarks that London has to offer. See all of the famous landmarks including Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Board a 30-minute flight on the London Eye for incredible views of the city or visit the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London. Tonight, dine at an authentic London Pub before returning to your hotel.

      Day 2 : The Shard

      Continue the exploration of the city that you began yesterday. If you are looking for sightseeing with a little more fun, you might like to check out Madame Tussauds and "meet" your favorite celebrities. If you’d like another view of London from up high, the view from the Shard offers spectacular views of this massive city from London's highest viewing platform at the top of Western Europe's tallest building.

      Day 3 : Covent Garden

      Today is your last full day in London. This city is a prime destination for some retail therapy, and this is a great day to take advantage of that. Peruse through the hip, trendy shops in London's Covent Garden where you'll find all things unique, one-of-a-kind and trendy. Enjoy lunch as you take your pick from countless restaurants and cafes in the area. Later, make your way to West End for a show which is just minutes away.

      Day 4 : Roman Baths & Devon

      This morning pick up your rental car and then begin the long journey to Devon, a county in southwest England. The drive is approximately 4 hours, but you may want to make a stop or two along the way to break up the long trip. Stop in the beautiful city of Bath for lunch. Bath is known for its rich history and graceful architecture. After lunch, visit the impressive Roman Baths to discover one of the finest historic sites in Northern Europe. When you’re ready to leave Bath, get back on the road and finish your journey to Devon. Find your accommodation, the luxurious Bovey Castle, in the heart of Dartmoor National Park. Check-in and settle into your room before heading down to dinner.

      Day 5 : Bovey Castle

      Today can be as relaxing or as active as you’d like. Spend the day at Bovey Castle experiencing all it has to offer. Enjoy breakfast and then choose from a range of activities, including falconry displays, woodland walks, hot-air ballooning, or swimming. You can enjoy a spa treatment at the Elan Spa or play a game of golf on the castle’s beautiful 18-hole championship course. You can learn to make cider and sloe gin. You can even partake in archery or clay pigeon shooting. In the evening, you’ll have the choice between Bovey’s two wonderful restaurants for dinner.

      Day 6 : Tour of Devon

      Have an early breakfast today and then meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby. You’ll be going on a unique and spectacular tour to see the hidden gems of the area. There is a wide range of tours you can go on and your tour guide will customize it around your own interests. You’ll spend the day with your very knowledgeable tour guide and enjoy views of the rustic, stunning scenery of Dartmoor National Park. Filled with wildlife, centuries of history and endless opportunities for adventure, this is the perfect setting for a Southern England trip. You may explore more of the area's heritage with a stop at the Visitor's Center. You can also make your way to the likes of Plymouth and walk in the footsteps of those who boarded the Mayflower nearly 400 years ago.

      Day 7 : Return Home

      Make your way to either Bristol Airport or to Heathrow Airport in London for a late flight where you will return your car and begin your journey home.
