The Golden Circle
Day 1: Welcome to Iceland
On the way to Reykjavik stop off at Blue Lagoon for a relaxing morning. At Blue Lagoon, get comfortable in one of the wonders of the world! During your time there you can enjoy the geothermal spa located in a lava field. You can enjoy spa amenities, exclusive lounges, in-water messages and guided tours. After spending your afternoon relaxing, continue to Reykjavik. Once arriving at your accommodations you can get settled and unwind after a long travel day.
Day 2: Golden Circle
Lava Tunnels & Northern LightsToday, spend the morning exploring the Golden Circle, filled with Iceland's most stunning sights. You will see the Geysir geothermal area where boiling hot spring spout steaming water every 8 minutes. Also, visit the iconic waterfall of Gullfoss, the Þingvellir National Park and Friðheimar greenhouse cultivation center. After spending a long day exploring the Golden Circle spend the night relaxing in the hotel or going out in Reykjavík to grab a bite to drink or have a few drinks.
Day 3: Lava Tunnels
Explore the Lava Tunnel in the afternoon which are just 30 minutes from Reykjavík! During this 3 hour tour you will witness the inner workings of a volcanic eruption while walking in the path of a lava that flowed thousands of years ago. You will experience a new world, hear the talk of the cave and sense the forces of nature. After returning from this day tour spend the night on the Northern Lights Tour. If the weather doesn't permit, Taste the Saga is another great tour for this evening. During the Northern Lights Tour you will see a spectacular natural phenomenon. The location you visit will vary depending on the weather conditions. After returning from the tour, spend the rest of your night relaxing at the hotel.
Day 4: Reykjavik
Before leaving Iceland, spend the morning exploring the city of Reykjavik. There are many things to do in the city including visiting the modern cathedral Hallgrimskirkja and seeing the steel boat sculpture "The Sun Voyager" beside the sea. You can grab a bite to eat in one of the delicious restaurants before heading to the airport.
