Day 2: Titanic Belfast, Giant's Causeway & Derry
If you have any interest in the Titanic, visit Titanic Belfast this morning. If you do not have interest, you should still visit as it is an amazing display that attracts over a million visitors per year. On your way to Derry, be sure to spend some time at the Giant's Causeway and walk on its hexagonal basalt columns which many legends say are there as a result of the giant Cuchulainn. Dunluce castle is also worth stopping at before you reach Derry. Take this evening to explore Derry with a walking tour or just visit the Bogside to get a sense of Derry's past.

Day 3: The Hills of Donegal
While Northern Ireland is beautiful, today will be your first taste of real rugged beauty. Donegal is the most sparsely populated county in Ireland with narrow roads winding around its famed hills. Take as long as you wish on this scenic drive before returning to Derry. To break up the drive, be sure to visit Sliabh Liag, the highest sea cliffs in Europe. If you are the adventurous type, Donegal is great for surfing, biking and hiking.
Overnight in Derry
Day 4: Yeats' Country
Whether or not you were a fan of W.B. Yeats or not, Yeats' Country is a beautiful part of Ireland and one that too few tourists get to experience. Taking in most of Sligo and parts of Leitrim and Roscommon, Ben Bulben and Lough Gill provide the main attractions. You can take a cruise on the lake or just stop to appreciate Ben Bulben. Seaside towns like Enniscrone provide the perfect stopping point for lunch or dinner. Continue onto Westport where you will spend the night.

Day 5: Connemara Tour & Galway City
Today set out south along the west coast to Connermara and onto Clifden. Take some stunning pictures of Kylemore Abbey and find somewhere nice in he Connemara region to get some lunch. Be sure to make the short trip to Salthill and take a short stroll along the promenade. Make your way back to your hotel in your own time.
