12 Day Wales & England Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : London
Arrive in London and make your way to your accommodation. After checking into your hotel, go out and begin exploring this wonderful city. Take an open-top bus tour around the many famous landmarks that London has to offer. See all of the famous landmarks including Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Board a 30-minute flight on the London Eye for incredible views of the city or visit the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London. Tonight, dine at an authentic London Pub before returning to your hotel.

Day 2 : London
After breakfast today, continue on with your exploration of London. Take a tour of the iconic Buckingham Palace to see the London residence of the Royal family. Visit the British Museum to see Egyptian mummies and a remarkable collection of human history. Step into St. Paul’s Cathedral and marvel at the amazing interior. While you’re there, be sure to climb the dome of the cathedral in order to enjoy spectacular views across London. Fun Fact: Prince Charles and Princess Diana were married at St. Paul’s Cathedral!

Day 3 : Bath
Today, you will be traveling from London to Bath where you can explore the many iconic sights. Marvel at the magnificent Royal Crescent, The Circus, Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey and see all of those picture-perfect postcard attractions in Bath come to life. The city’s many museums and art galleries provide a rich and fascinating insight into fashion through the ages, 19th century astronomer William Herschel, Bath's industrial heritage, the life of Bath's most famous literary resident a the Jane Austen Centre and much, much more. Also, be sure to check out the impressive Roman Baths to discover one of the finest historic sites in Northern Europe. Here you’ll find one of the greatest religious spas of the ancient world.

Day 4 : Cardiff
Cardiff is a beautiful port city on the south coast of Wales. The revitalized waterfront at Cardiff Bay includes the Wales Millennium Center and many shops, places to dine and beautiful architecture. The city is easy to explore by foot. Some great places to visit include the National Museum Cardiff and the spectacular Cardiff Castle. Cardiff Castle is truly a remarkable site with history that spans over 2,000 years. Tour the castle to see where Roman soldier slept here, noble knights held court here, and the Bute family transformed the Castle into a romantic Victorian fantasy. After visiting these beautiful places, head to your accommodations or grab a bite to eat before relaxing for the night.

Day 5 : Cardiff
Today, you will continue to explore Cardiff. There are many other wonderful places to visit outside of the city center. Caerphilly Castle is a medieval fortification in Caerphilly. The Castle was constructed in the 13th century by Gilbert de Clare in his campaign to conquer Glamorgan. The Castle is the largest in Wales and is surrounded by a series of moats and watery islands. There are tour available daily that will give you the true experience and show the beauty of the castle. After exploring Caerphilly Castle continue to St Fagans National Museum of History. This museum is located in St Fagans and is an open-air museum that chronicles the historical lifestyle, culture and architecture of the Welsh people. The museum includes the magnificent St Fagans Castle and gardens, historic buildings, a working museum and beautiful nature. After spending some time exploring you can head back to Cardiff to have dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants and enjoy your night.

Day 6 : Llandudno
After getting settled into your accommodations explore the beautiful seaside town of Llandudno. The town is known for its North Shore Beach and 19th century pier which has a games arcades and shops. There are many things you can do during your first day including visiting the Great Orme via a tram or cable car, visiting little Orme, exploring Eirias Park or attending the Home Front Experience. These are all great great things to start out your time in Wales. After you have spent the afternoon exploring the area head back to your accommodation for a relaxing night after a long day of travel.

Day 7 : Llandudno
Today, you will explore the area surrounding Llandudno. One of the many great places to visit is Conwy which is a World Heritage town. Conwy is one of Britain's best-preserved medieval towns. The well-preserved ancient walls enclose the town full of cobbled streets and historic buildings. Conwy Castle is a World Heritage Site that was a key part of the “iron ring” of fortresses build around Snowdonia. The views from the battlements with the mountains of Snowdonia one way and Conwy Estuary on the other are simply stunning. Other great places to check out include Aberconwy House, Plas Mawr and the Smallest House. A must do while in Conwy is to walk along the walls before venturing into the streets below. You can complete a history lesson of the area by visiting Conwy’s Tourist Information center to see flagship exhibitions. After exploring Conwy head to your accommodations before enjoying your night in Llandudno.

Day 9 : Snowdonia
Today, you will be traveling from Llandudno to Snowdonia which is a region in northwest Wales. It is concentrated around the mountains and glacial landforms of the massive Snowdonia National Park. The park has a historic Snowdon Mountain Railway which climbs to the summit of Wale’s highest mountain, Mount Snowdon. This is a really fun thing to do because the views along the way and from the top are absolutely stunning. It offers views across the sea to Ireland. Snowdonia National Park is also a great place to explore as it is home to an extensive network of trails, over 100 lakes and craggy peaks. The National Park has wild landscapes and villages that are filled with history. The breathtaking destination is perfect for outdoor activities including hiking, enjoying waterfalls, mountain biking and riding the railway.

Day 10 : Tenby
Tenby is a harbor town and resort in south west Wales. It is known for it 13th-century town walls and stretches of sandy shoreline. Caldey Island is a great place to visit during your time in Tenby. It is a small island off the southwest coast of mainland Wales. It has a recorded history going back 1,500 years and is known as one of the holy islands in Britain. If you would rather stay on the mainland Pembroke Castle is a great place to check out. It is a medieval castle that was the original family seat of the Earldom of Pembroke. It was the birthplace of Henry VII and is idyllically set on the banks of the river estuary. If you find yourself with more time, visit one of the many beaches or other castle. Castle Beach is a great place to check out as it is a quaint swimming beach known for it placid waters and nearby eateries.

Day 12 : Brecon Beacons
Today, you will be traveling to Brecon Beacons which is a mountain range in the South of Wales. The Brecon Beacons National Park is one of three national parks in Wales and is center on the Brecon Beacons range of hills. There are many activities to do in Brecon Beacons including abseiling & rock climbing, cycling, horse riding, stargazing, walking and watersports. There are also natural caves, stunning landscapes, castles, museums and old industrial mines. There is so much to explore in the area that will help to better enrich your knowledge of the region and Wales. Local businesses in the area include Garwnant Visitor Center, Carreg Cennen Castle, Penderyn Distillery, Myddfai Community Hall and Cantref Adventure Farm. After exploring the region head back to your accommodations to enjoy your last night in Wales.

Today, you will be leaving Wales. In the morning you will head to the airport where you will continue on your trip or head back home.
