Tour the 'Golden Circle': Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir hot spring area with its fabulous spouting Strokkur and Gullfoss Waterfall. Head to the South Coast and stop by Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, the magnificent waterfall and folk museum at Skógar and the Lava Centre in Hvolsvöllur, Europe's biggest exhibition on earthquakes and volcanic activity. Admire the vast ocean views at Cape Dyrhólaey and walk along Reynisfjörur beach.

Go for a walk in Skaftafell nature resort, perhaps up to Svartifoss Waterfall or the glacier tounge. Go on an adventurous tour by hay wagon to Cape Ingólfshöfði. Continue to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and take a boat excursion between the shimmering icebergs. Various types of glacier tours on Vatnajökull Glacier are available if booked in advance.

      Day 4 | The Eastfjords

Enjoy dramatic mountain views en route to the Eastfjords. Stop by quaint fishing villages such as Djúpivogur, Breiðdalsvík and Fáskrúðsfjörður with their amazing fjord scenery and interesting heritage exhibitions. Continue to Egilsstaðir, located next to the Lagarfljót river where the sea serpent 'Lagarfljótsormur' allegedly lives. Sample delicious Icelandic food at one of our country hotels.

Day 5 | Húsavík or Lake Mývatn

Choose between going on a whale watching tour from the charming harbour town of Húsavík and exploring the canyons, rock formations and waterfalls within the northern part of Vatnajökull National Park.
