How were your accommodations?
Okay – all of the hotels we stayed appeared clean and the continental breakfast and hot breakfast included were great. The Brooks Hotel in Dublin was very nice. The Fairview in Killarney was nice and lady hostess was very sweet chatting with us about our days, but the bed was uncomfortable. The Park House in Galway was nice but bed was uncomfortable and the shower leaked water on the floor. The Dromoland Castle was amazing and the best way to end our trip!!
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?
Yes. Overall our transportation was great with no problems. Our driver for the first few days, Liam Higgins was great. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell he truly enjoyed sharing the history and beauty and language of his country. Our driver from Lally Tours to Cliffs and Aran Island was great as well as the tour guide Sean. Very personable and helpful.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?
The Gap of Dunloe, the National Park in Killarney, visiting the Dingle peninsula and the grounds of Dromoland Castle. The falconry experience at the castle was amazing!
What was your favorite part of the trip?
We, fortunately, had some fantastic weather so the views of the mountains, lakes, and ocean was wonderful but my favorite experience was with the falconry at Dromoland Castle.
Would you travel with us again?
Yes!
How can we improve for next time?
It might be helpful to ask clients what type or how much “down time” they might like in their trip. I know that might be difficult with set tours but with more private tours it might be helpful.
