Georgana & family did a combination trip to Scotland & Northern Ireland in May 2022. This was their second trip with Crystal Travel & Tours, and they had a fantastic time.

How would you rate your trip?

5/5

Who was your travel expert?

Ann

How were your accommodations?

Great

What did you love?

We loved the locations of our accommodations, especially the city ones. We also loved the charm and comfort. Patrice loved Myrtle Bank best. I loved Culloden and Bushmills, especially. Poplars was wonderful, too. Really couldn’t pick a least favorite though the decor in Clontarf Castle was, hmmm…invigorating. It’s  and location, though, was fabulous.

Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?

Yes

What did you love?

Lots to love!! The CTC and other drivers you’d arranged were so professional but personable too. Three Isles Early Bird Tour was our favorite day. Jacobite Steam Train was fun, food excellent. It was one of the few really rainy days so good to do, but once is enough. We also especially loved Edinburg. Just fabulous.

What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?

Oh! See above!

What was your favorite part of the trip?

Hard to pick. For me, puffins on Staffa and abbey on Iona, Edinburg, Castle and dinner at Kitchin (pricy but very worth it) and Giants Causeway, Bushmills. But every day, really, was terrific.

Would you travel with us again?

Yes

How can we improve for next time?

I can’t think of anything you could have done better. One thing to note, though. Bobs luggage was lost by KLM when we got to Glasgow and the lost luggage staff at the airport weren’t particularly helpful. We finally got info at where it was (wearhouse where lost luggage is stored) and had to go fetch it ourselves or lose a day waiting for it to be delivered. The CTC driver indicated that this is not uncommon.

Any other questions or comments?

Just have to say that this is our second trip with Crystal and, once again, we were totally impressed. Well done!!
