Day 1: Blue Lagoon
On the way to Reykjavik stop off at Blue Lagoon for a relaxing morning.At Blue Lagoon, get comfortable in one of the wonders of the world!During your time there you can enjoy the geothermal spa located in a lava field. You can enjoy spa amenities, exclusive lounges, in-water messages and guided tours. After spending your afternoon relaxing,continue to Reykjavik. Once arriving at your accommodations you can get settled and unwind after a long travel day.
Day 2: Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon
Today, you will take the Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon tour. En route to the lagoon you will see some of Iceland’s most magnificent scenery, including the tallest mountain in Iceland, Hvannadalshnjúkur, and the sprawling black sand desert between Skaftafell National Park and the lagoon itself. The lagoon is the result of Breiðarmerkurjökull glacier slowly retreating,leaving in its wake the lagoon and the oddly-shaped icebergs of various sizes. After spending a long day exploring the lagoon head back to your hotel for the night.
Day 3: Game of Thrones Tour
Today, you will see the locations where Game of Thrones was filmed. Walking in the footsteps of characters from the gripping drama “Game of Thrones” is a unique experience you won’t have anywhere else. Avid watchers of the show are sure to thoroughly enjoy this tour. If you are not, you will still enjoy it because of the astounding varied landscapes and the stories you can take home to tell your friends! After returning from this day tour spend the night on the Northern Lights Tour. If the weather doesn't permit, Taste the Saga is another great tour for this evening. During the Northern Lights Tour you will see a spectacular natural phenomenon. The location you visit will vary depending on the weather conditions. After returning from the tour, spend the rest of your night relaxing at the hotel.
Day 4: Snæfellsnes National Park
Today you will experience the range of Icelandic natural beauty in just one area—the wonderfully diverse Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The peninsula is almost a miniature version of the island. In addition to its characteristic Snæfellsjökull glacier, there are black sandy beaches, bird cliffs, spectacular mountains and volcanic craters. Along this tour you will stop at the small fishing village Arnarstapi, the ancient fishing village Hellnar, visit Djúpalónssandur beach, the iconic Kirkjufell mountain and various other locations. After the 13-hour day touring the national park head to your accommodation to relax after a long day.
Day 5: Reykjavik & Departure
Before leaving Iceland, spend the morning exploring the city of Reykjavik. There are many things to do in the city including visiting the modern cathedral Hallgrimskirkja and seeing the steel boat sculpture"The Sun Voyager" beside the sea. You can grab a bite to eat in one of the delicious restaurants before heading to the airport.
