Okay – “The Style” – was run down, looks great but then you realize it’s falling apart. Street noise was excessive. “ Hilton” was perfect. “The Republic” – room on the small size, no restaurant, breakfast was just ok
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?
Yes. Flights were on time and as good as long flights can be expected. All our arranged pickups and drop offs were on time and very kind. The drivers (all) didn’t speak English but they weren’t our tour guides, just a driver.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?
The Roman forum, Palestine Hill and the Colosseum tour was wonderful. The tour guide was very informative and the group stayed at the same pace. We love Mt Vesuvius, but there was no guide. The Amalfi coast, great guide Roberto, great energy, Positano and Amalfi so beautiful and enjoyable. Ravello really had nothing… Pompeii our tour guide was spot on and full of information, our day was sunny and in the 60’sjust how we like it, but that tour might be overwhelming if it had been any hotter. No shade.
Sorrento was the absolute best. We were there for 5 days give or take. We love every minute, from the people to tours to the restaurants. Oddly though the “Street food experience tour”, wasn’t any better than us. When I say that, before we did the tour we ate or visited all the areas they covered on the tour, except for a new fish restaurant at the end which they were not prepared for us at all. We did a tour with an interesting family from Canada making it much more fun. Make lemonade!

How can we improve for next time?
It’s not you guys ! It’s us. As we travel more we are learning what we like to see and do. We understand how much we can see within a day. So with all honesty, Ann has made our trips amazing and we are very thankful for all her insight and hard work. We will pass your company on to as many people as possible.

The food- off the chart’s delicious. From street food to fine dining. Every bit so good, nice to be some place that cooks better than me! Hahaha
