How would you rate your trip?

Who was your travel expert?

Bridie

How were your accommodations?

Ballyseede Castle was outstanding. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Armada Hotel was a disappointment. Room was loud, on the street and facing the parking lot. It’s more of a banquet facility than a cozy hotel. Pier House was beautiful. Very clean with a great view. The Lodge at the Old Barracks was a delightful surprise. Eight rooms nicely appointed and quiet. Fitzpatrick Castle was wonderful. Corner room with views of the ocean and Dublin. Easy walk to Dalkey. And of course, all the wonderful Pubs on our travels.

Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?

Yes. Aer Lingus was easy and consumer friendly. Hertz was easy to deal with for our self drive tour.

What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?

Kilmainham Goal was eye opening. Highly recommended. Trap and pony ride around Inis Mor was a lot of fun. All the old castles, forts and ancient ruins and monuments we found on our self drive. And the pubs! The locals were fun and the fish and chips ! Driving around the country looking at castles and ancient monuments was wonderful. Renting a car is the way to go.

What was your favorite part of the trip?

Self drive tour exploring the country. Able to go where we wanted to go and when we wanted to go. Kilmainham Goal in Dublin is a must see. Trap and pony ride on Inis Mor is a lot of fun.
