How were your accommodations?
Great. Hotels were lovely. We especially enjoyed Shelbourne in Dublin and Castle near Shannon. Salthill and Fairview were also lovely. The only issue with Salthill is it’s very near Galway Stadium. While we were there, there was a wedding at the hotel and games on Saturday and Sunday. Hotel was overrun with fans and wedding guests. It was very difficult to try to use bar or hotel restaurants…..
Did everything go smoothly with your transportation?
Yes. After seeing the roads in the countryside, we are so glad we booked a private driver. On our own, we aren’t sure we could have found half the spots we visited or managed to drive on the narrow curving roadways. Paudi Moriarty was great! Highly recommend.
What tours, attractions, or activities did you particularly enjoy?
On/off bus was great in Dublin. Great way to see what’s there and get off and on as wanted. We really enjoyed Ring of Kerry and Cliffs of Moher. The grounds at Blarney Castle were magnificent. We had so much fun at Dromoland with our fishing excursion and also did a carriage ride. Just wonderful experiences!
What was your favorite part of the trip?
Meeting the Irish people and interacting with them. We spent a wonderful afternoon at the Temple Bar in Dublin and an unforgettable day of singing at Crane Bar in Dublin. It was wonderful seeing my husband reconnect with his heritage.

How can we improve for next time?
Hard to improve. Everything went pretty flawlessly. We were able to experience so much in 12 days – could not have done it without the program put together by Josie. I am sorry we missed the Aran Islands due to rain – but will definitely put at top of list for our next visit. We appreciated working with Josie. She understood our wishes for the trip and curated an experience of a lifetime for us. It was truly one of those “priceless” trips. We can’t wait to go back.. Thank you Josie. Thank you Crystal Travel. You exceeded our expectations.
