        8 Day Irish Foodie Tour Itinerary

        Day 1: Dublin Tea Tour

        Your culinary experience will begin with a uniquely nostalgic introduction to Dublin. Climb aboard a vintage double-decker bus, and settle in for delicious afternoon tea as you see the sights of the city. That evening enjoy a welcome dinner in Temple Bar, Dublin’s cultural quarter.

        Day 2: Cook Off

        Visit a whiskey distillery, right in the heart of old Dublin, for a tour and a delicious signature drink. Then enjoy a free afternoon in Dublin before gathering at Dublin’s leading culinary school. Roll up your sleeves! You’ll get cooking today, as you learn new dishes and compete against your fellow travelers in a fun, inspiring cook-off while preparing dinner for your group.

        Day 3: Glendalough & Goat Farm

        Venture to the beautiful Wicklow mountains and see picturesque Glendalough – this monastic site flourished for hundreds of years from its founding in the sixth century, and many of its buildings still stand today. Next you’ll move on to Cork, to a goat farm with a herd of 400 goats. The amazing range of cheeses includes one of the original Irish farmhouse goat cheeses, along with goat milk and natural yoghurt. End the day at your hotel in the hillside fishing village of Ballycotton, County Cork, where your hotel dinner will be freshly prepared with ingredients from your farm visits.

        Day 4:  Cork's English Market & Blarney Castle

        Indulge yourself at Ireland’s ultimate foodie shopping destination: Cork City’s bustling English Market, where traditional and artisanal food producers sell their products in a covered market that has been around since 1788. You have the option to shop for old Irish favorites like tripe and drisheen alongside selections of olives, cheeses, and pastries. Visit Blarney Castle, where you can climb the steep steps to kiss the famous stone, or simply wander around the grounds. Enjoy dinner in the historic port town of Kinsale, once a fishing village and now an important destination for foodies, sailors and art lovers.

        Day 5: Chocolate-making workshop & Killarney

        Enjoy a drive along the rugged Cork coast to Kerry, where you will take a class in chocolate making with an award-winning French pastry chef who creates unique, high-quality chocolates using the finest ingredients from around the world. Take a scenic drive to Killarney for a short stopover before heading to Tralee. There you will dine on homegrown and foraged foods, along with ingredients from local artisan suppliers.

        Day 6: Seaweed Foraging & Whiskey-Chocolate Pairing

        Visit Derrynane House, the ancestral home of Daniel O’Connell, one of the most heroic leaders in the making of modern Ireland. The home and the 300 acres that surround it are today part of the Derrynane National Historic Park. Next, explore the nutritional, horticultural and cosmetic benefits of ocean plants, in a foraging stroll at seashore. Drive the ring of Kerry, Ireland’s most popular scenic drive. You’ll have dinner in Killarney, enjoying a whiskey tasting with chocolate pairing.

        Day 7: Artisanal Goat Cheese & Cliffs of Moher

        Take the ferry from Kerry to Clare, on your way to a cheese farm in Inagh, just south of the limestone landscape of the Burren. These artisanal goat cheese producers have been at work since the early 1980s. Take a trip to view the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. Enjoy dinner in the heart of Ennis.
